WEDDING HAIR TIPS
Make sure you decide on a hairstyle before you choose your veil or headdress, and once you have bought your veil and tiara let your hairdresser practice with it before the big day.
 
Play with a few different hairstyles before finalizing your look, and try to match the degree of formality of your gown to your hairstyle. It may be worth considering extensions or hairpieces to add volume for special hairstyles.
 
Visit your hairdresser at least six months before the wedding to set up a hair care regime. The hairdresser should advice you what products to use, whether you need special conditioning treatments, when to have your hair colored, etc.
 
It is worth getting you existing color touched up two weeks before the wedding so you won’t have any roots showing, while you’ll probably need a final trim at the same time.
 
On the big day make sure you wear a buttoned-down shirt to your hair session so you will not knock the hair out of place when you get changed into your dress.
 
Do not let anyone talk you into the latest style unless you really love it, you don’t want to feel silly or self-conscious on the happiest day of your life.
 
On the day of your wedding don’t use unfamiliar hair products because you could be allergic to them. In addition, don’t wash your hair right before styling it because it may be too slippery to handle.
